The Bottle Aversion OT is a UK based Occupational Therapy service led by Beth Charles, a registered Occupational Therapist (HCPC OT80737). We provide infant therapy, consultation and digital resources to support families of infants experiencing bottle aversion or feeding difficulties.

A. Therapy Clients
We may collect and process:
•    Parent/caregiver and child names and contact details
•    Child’s date of birth, medical history, feeding history and other relevant clinical information
•    Session notes, assessments, and clinical observations
•    Videos or photos (only with explicit consent)
•    Payment and invoicing details
•    Feedback
B. Digital Product Customers
We may collect:
•    Name and email address
•    Billing information
•    Purchase history
•    Order confirmations and receipts
•    Download links and access logs
•    Customer support messages or feedback
•    Payment confirmation details (processed securely by Stripe, PayPal, or similar providers — we do not store card details)
C. Website Visitors
Our website may automatically collect:

5. How Your Data Is Stored
•    Clinical records are stored securely in Cliniko, a GDPR compliant practice management system.
•    Emails and documents are stored using encrypted services. Emails are processed through Gmail, which uses encryption in transit. However, Gmail is not end to end encrypted meaning sensitive information received by email is transferred to Cliniko, our secure clinical record system, and the original email is deleted to ensure safe and appropriate storage of health data
•    Payment data is processed by secure third party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). We do not store card details.
•    WhatsApp messages and videos are end to end encrypted and stored in line with our clinical record keeping policy.
Retention periods:
•    Therapy records: minimum of 8 years, or until the child reaches age 25 (HCPC/NHS standards).
•    Digital product purchase data: up to 6 years for tax and audit purposes.

6. Sharing Your Information
We will never sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
We may share information only when:
•    You give explicit consent
•    Required by law (e.g., safeguarding, court order)
•    Necessary for professional supervision or clinical audit (anonymised where possible)
•    Required by insurers or regulators in the event of a claim or investigation

7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
•    Access your personal data
•    Request correction of inaccurate data
•    Request deletion (where legally appropriate)
•    Object to or restrict processing
•    Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the lawful basis)
